Once upon a sunny day in the picturesque Sun Peaks, BC, lifelong friends Jeannine and Shanna embarked on an unexpected adventure. It was November 2020 when Shanna first wandered into the enchanting world of Sun Peaks. Almost two years later, Jeannine, joined by her daughter Aspen, noticed the community was in need of fabulous custom window coverings!

A Vacation Turned Business Venture

As they often say, "What else is possible here?" the idea for Sun Peaks Blinds & Drapery sprang to life during a fun-filled vacation. Fueled by excitement, the girls dashed to the town office the following day, business license application in hand. And just like that, they plunged headfirst into their new venture, a familiar leap for these creative entrepreneurs.

With over 14 years in the industry, she's earned her stripes and knows exactly which brands and styles are a perfect fit. Enter Julia, a fresh face hired in the spring of 2020. Jeannine first met her during an in-home consultation, and it wasn't long before Julia was a full-time fixture in the shop. With her keen eye for design and boundless eagerness to learn, she quickly took charge of the day-to-day tasks, becoming an indispensable part of the team.

While Shanna has since relocated to the beautiful Okanagan, Sun Peaks Blinds has expanded its reach across BC, partnering with home builders, construction companies, and interior designers in Sun Peaks, Kamloops, Kelowna, Osoyoos, and beyond.
